SPF Christmas Market / Pop Up Shop
A Christmas market / pop up shop in SPF Studio, over the first weekend of December.
- Friday 4th: Opening / late night shopping, 5pm - 9pm
- Saturday 5th: Open 11am - 4pm
- Sunday 6th: Open 11am - 4pm
Goal
We want to have a range of art, ceramics, jewellery, garments and accessories, made by independent creatives, from various parts of the world, at different price points so people can get Christmas gifts!
We want to make it super easy for everyone, so whatever you can manage is perfect. This is ideal for things you have spare/on hand, samples or old stock. Happy for you to slowly make some things between now and then, but at the pace and quantity you feel is manageable.
How it'll work
Between now and then: finalise the pieces you want in the market and finalise prices for everything. Drop off garments (or post them) to the studio by Thursday December 3rd.
I'll be working the market over the weekend, so you just need to drop off your things and pick up what doesn't sell. I'm more than happy for you to be there, hang out and enjoy the market. But there is no expectation that you have to be there.
All sales will be handled by myself and run through the studio POS system (Square).
Consignment
The market will be running on consignment. SPF will be taking a 22% consignment fee on any item that is sold.
I am trying to find the balance between making it viable for SPF and making it worth your while. A 22% consignment fee is where I have landed. We will take care of everything (card surcharge fees, promo, packaging, etc), all you need to do is get your items to us!
After the pop up, we will send out a sales summary for you to then invoice us with the sales you made! This will be paid within a week following the market.
Promo
Between now and then, SPF will be running promo for the market. It would be appreciated if some content is shared and redistributed amongst your own socials.
We will have an announcement/s to introduce all the humans participating in the market. It also would be lovely to do some spotlights on the creatives involved. I have included a space in the form below to add info and images!
Key dates
- Bump in: Thursday 3rd December. Drop off your items by this date! Happy to have them come in prior.
- Open night: Friday 4th December, from 5pm. Late night shopping / open night with drinks and music!
- Market: Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December, 11am - 4pm. Studio open hours for the market.
- Bump out: Monday 7th December. Pick up your items from the studio, or we'll post them out to you!
